It’s been a manic week! I’ve noticed that a lot of the time that I try to put aside for practising the things I enjoy on the drums, is being filled up with learning sets/songs and sorting out admin.

Its been a slow week for working on the parts of my playing that I either want to improve or I enjoy the challenge of learning. This brings its own feelings of guilt and failure, so it’s good to check yourself and be reminded that you are still playing, and at leasts that’s something!

Don’t worry too much if one week you don’t get what you wanted to done, you can always work on it next week. That’s one thing I love about drumming, there’s no expiry date.
